Hello Sense:buds and a big welcome to your March newsletter!
Hopefully you have all sprung your clocks forward because here at Sense:buds we are hoping to turn everything up a gear and really “spring” into the rest of the year.
This month we have been busy renovating our main testing facility. Whether you are visiting to take part in a study or follow us on social media, we cannot wait to showcase it to you all. In this newsletter we will also be announcing the first winners of the raffle draw, as well as giving you a comprehensive guide to how it will be running going forward and how you can make sure you get as many entries as possible!
We have also made changes to our sign-up questionnaire which we think will help you tailor the kinds of studies you want to receive.
New sign-up questions
We have updated several sign up questions to better understand what Sense:buds are looking for when signing up to take part in studies. One of the changes is that you will now be able to select if you identify as non-binary. We want our community to be as inclusive as possible, so will continue to alter our sign-up questions to ensure anyone can take part in the research projects we offer.
We have also amended the section on what kind of studies you are interested in. This means if you have changed preferences or can no longer attend studies in Leeds and only want to receive online or home tests, you can change this through your dashboard on the account section.
Facility undergoes a refurb!
We have just finished some renovations at our Killingbeck facility. We have a brand-new room for our clients to watch studies happening live, as well as a cosier reception area where you will be greeted by our host on the front desk. For those of you in the local area, we cannot wait to see you again and hope you like the change, and for those of you who are based outside of Leeds, keep an eye out on our social media for updates of the new changes.

Raffle Results:
The raffle is finally here. In last months newsletter we mentioned that we were planning on starting a raffle to give a little bit back to you all after hearing some of your feedback. We are happy to announce our first set of winners. Drum roll please...
The three winners are Beverly Spink, Janice Freeman and Kashif Ahmad, all of whom have won £40. This draw was done randomly with all current members of the panel having a chance to win.
However, going forward, you have multiple ways of gaining an entry into the raffle. Entry as you can see is completely free, so fingers crossed you can win next time, and for this months winners congratulations, we will be getting in touch shortly.
